Fabulous service from Steve, Phil and the team. They planted part of the hedge in appalling weather conditions and completed later in the week in better weather and made any adjustments where needed. Excellent, professional service. I called in the nursery 2 years ago, thinking of buying leylandii. I spoke to Steve and bought elaeagnus ebbingei instead.. His staff delivered and planted the hedge. After the “Beast form the East” I thought the hedge had died. Steve reassured me that it would come back, it did, and is doing brilliantly. Went to World of Hedges to buy a hedge for my front garden and I couldn’t fault the guy who served me. Very enthusiastic and passionate about his job. I asked him what hedge would not lose their leaves, be low and easy to maintain, good for wildlife and would be able to grow round my existing plants? He gave me a few options taking me to have a look at each type. When I decided which one to choose I asked him how many he thought I needed and how to plant and look after them. As I noted this down, I couldn’t write fast enough he was that passionate about the hedge and how to look after them.

With a front garden in need of a total overhaul we called in at World of Hedges on spec. We were glad we did. Steve and his small team cleared our old shrubs and advised on the best replacements before returning to put in the new hedges. The job required over 40 new shrubs to be planted and several tonnes of additional top soil. The project was expertly managed by Steve himself and completed as scheduled. His excellent and knowledgeable staff took great care over the planting and made sure that our driveway and paths were swept clean at the end of the process. The staff at World of Hedges take great pride in what they do and it shows. We are delighted with the result.

Would like to thank Phil and his team for the excellent job done. Prior to preparation and planting of 31 Elaeagnus plants and 3 Hornbeam trees the team dug up and re-sited a Holly bush and small Yew tree for us. Despite the atrocious weather conditions they undertook all the planting, digging in of 3 tons of soil and the cleaning up afterwards whilst maintaining a sense of humour and a happy demeanour! All our queries were answered and additional info given regarding aftercare of the plants. Excellent job. Can highly recommend. Thankyou World Of Hedges.
